Seamonkey ist eine Software-Suite, die u.a. einen Webbrowser sowie einen Mail- und Newscllient enthält. Die quelloffene Software basiert auf dem Mozilla-Quellcode, der wiederum auf dem Netscpace Communicator basiert.

Während Seamonkey 1.x die Mozilla-Codebasis fortführte, basiert Seamonkey 2.x auf Firefox und Thunderbird.
